Located in Malaysia’s Penang Island, The Gravityz is the place to be for you to challenge yourself to exceed your limits and conquer your fears! Claimed to be one of the most exciting high-altitude sports platforms in Southeast Asia, you are invited to take a leap out of your comfort zone from the 65th floor of Menara Komtar in Georgetown, Penang at the world’s highest ropes course challenge!

The adrenaline-pumping course is set 784 feet or 239 meters above ground, and all the six challenges take approximately one hour to complete. Talk about taking your Malaysian vacation to new heights!

Where is The Gravityz located?

The Gravityz is located on the 65th floor at The Top, Menara Komtar at George Town, Penang.

Rope Courses and Challenges

There are 6 different challenges, including the Confidence Path, High Bench, A Great Bridge, X-Point, ZWire and G-Rocky.

What is the duration of the entire rope course?

60 minutes in total, including 20 minutes of preparation, 10 minutes of safety briefing and 30 minutes of actual trail challenge.

Ticket Prices at The Gravityz

Standard rate of RM149 for foreigners.
Discounts will be given to MyKad holders.
A group of 10 is entitled for discounts. Booking must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
Please note that ticket rates may fluctuate depending on the holiday seasons. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets earlier to enjoy lower prices.

How to Purchase Tickets

Tickets must be purchased prior to your visit to The Gravityz, Penang. To buy tickets, simply visit https://www.thegravityz.com/booking and book your date and time slot. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a booking number for you to redeem your wristband on the day of visit.

What is the payment method for the ticket purchase?

Only credit cards and debit cards are accepted here.

Eligibility to Participate

Height must not be lesser than 100cm.
Weight must be no more than 100kg.
Participants must be 18 years old or above. Those below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Participants must have a good health condition and are free from heart-related diseases, high blood pressure, pregnancy, acrophobia and hypertension.

How Safe is The Gravityz?

Every safety equipment received certification from the European Union and TUV. Each participant is given a full body harness and hooked onto a safety lanyard that is attached to an overhead safety line. On top of that, there will always be at least one instructor supervising the rope course to provide guidance and assistance.

Are Cameras Allowed at The Gravityz

Cameras such as GoPro or smartphones are allowed provided they are strapped on at all times. The Gravityz provides rental of phone pouches at RM10/piece.

20 minutes of preparation includes putting on harness and other important safety gears.

Different types of harnesses will be assigned according to the weight of the participants.

A professional guide will always be present to provide instruction and assistance throughout the six challenges: Confidence Path, High Bench, A Great Bridge, X-Point, ZWire and G-Rocky.

Participants are arranged in a line throughout the entire rope course.

The height honestly takes getting used to before you realise you are just hanging onto a rope from the 65th floor.

Those who are afraid of heights can opt for a milder and less exhilarating way to enjoy the island from above at the Rainbow Skywalk at The Top Penang, located just one floor below.
