Types of Rooms & Price

For this memorable stay at Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites, I checked into the Deluxe Room, which was reasonably priced at RM200 per night. This cosy room comes with plenty of amenities, offering high-speed internet access, a work desk, and a comfortable king-sized bed. My favourite part is the bathroom, which features a beautifully marbled floor and a bathtub.

 

Other rooms to consider include the Deluxe Suite Room, which costs RM482 per night. On the other hand, the As-Safinaz floors are ideal for guests who require attentive services as they come with many privileges and the perfect ambiance for work - recommended for those on business trips.

 

The Presidential Suite, also known as the Executive Suite, is well-known among celebrities, royalty, and other VIPs. It comes with a private jacuzzi in the bathroom and a very spacious suite, and you can enjoy royalty treatment on the 19th floor of Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites.

Royale Songket Restaurant is one of the restaurants you can dine at in this prestigious hotel. You may enjoy the extensive halal menu, which offers endless choices of familiar local delights. My stay here has been delightful as I was always looking forward to what to eat. The buffets are priced differently on weekdays and weekends.

Muslim-friendly & Syariah-compliant Hotel

Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites is a Syariah-compliant hotel. What truly amazed me was that they have separate spas for males and females. Additionally, the swimming pool, though open to all in-house guests, offers separate swimming hours for Muslim female guests only.

Since this is a Syariah-compliant hotel, you can also easily spot the Qibla on the ceiling in the room to guide your prayers.

How to Get There

By Car

If you are planning to drive or use e-hailing services, simply waze to Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites in Shah Alam. It is located approximately 30 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur which will take up to 40 minutes by car.

By Bus

If you are arriving by bus, the nearest bus stations around Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites are Wisma Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) and Dataran Shah Alam which are both only 5 minutes away by foot.

Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites Review

My overall stay in this hotel was amazing, thanks to the incredibly cosy space and luxurious bathroom. As a hijabi, one thing that is crucial for me is having an iron and ironing board in the room to help me get ready with ease.

I slept well because the bed was so comfortable - like sleeping on a thick, fluffy cloud. It was so restful that I overslept the next morning! I strongly recommend that you spend at least one night at this hotel, so you can fully appreciate the interior design of the room which is a harmonious blend of traditional Malay and modern Islamic influences.

The only difficulty that I faced during my stay was trying to understand how the lifts work. The space in the lift is also quite limited and could only fit less than 8 people at once.
