Tambunan Rafflesia Information Centre, Sabah

This centre is home to many plots and documented flower buds, giving you a better chance of seeing the Rafflesia in bloom. However, as the flower has a brief lifespan of only three to five days, seeing it in full bloom is a matter of luck.

If you're planning a visit to the Rafflesia Centre, make sure to wear comfortable attire and trekking shoes because the terrain can be tricky. You'll be trekking through the forest, so it's best to be prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear. The entrance fee to the centre is RM5, and if you plan on taking pictures, there's an additional RM5 fee for the camera. If you'd like to have a tour guide to show you around and offer insights into the Rafflesia, there's an additional RM100 fee.
