SAGAR Gateway to India Restaurant @Kompleks Antarabangsa KL

Finally found a restaurant serving only the best north Indian cuisine!

Greeted by this gnome upon reaching the entrance located on the first floor

Remember, no smoking!

Here's a snippet of the menu:

Menu for its lunch buffet

In love with the gleaming utensils and exquisite glassware

Getting started with the papads and a variety of achars and chutneys

Main course: Naan and aloo paratha

Nothing comes free in a North Indian restaurant but that is only because they are so sure that the food is gonna be worth every penny you pay

Something for you to gnaw on after a heavy meal.
Been to many North Indian restaurants and this has to be one of the best!

Lot 650, Ground Floor, Kompleks Antarabangsa, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur

Restoran Kong Sai 广西仔, Bandar Mahkota Cheras

Another Chinese restaurant has recently opened for business in Bandar Mahkota Cheras. More good news for the nearby dwellers!

There is no such thing as reasonable pricing in Chinese restaurants. If you wanna have a good, delectable meal, you've gotta be prepared to pay.

Full house on a weekday.

A cold dish as appetizer. Thai style chicken feet.

These meat balls are delicious!

Steamed fish - a must-have for us Chinese folks.

The food is good and the service is excellent. Definitely worth a try!

Poon Kee Desserts 潘记糖水, Bandar Mahkota Cheras

One thing I realized about Chinese people is their love for desserts or something sweet to munch on after each meal, which explains why we are always on the lookout for the best dessert place in town. (I think this also partially explains why the number of Taiwanese dessert shops are flourishing in our country)

And here in my area, the most notable one would be Poon Kee Desserts.

Very simple furnishing and nothing extravagant.

Plenty of varieties to choose from at a reasonable pricing.

Black Glutinous Rice RM2.40

Peanut Cream RM3.00

Wheat Corn RM2.60

Pomelo Mango Cream RM 6.50

Wonderful World RM5.90

Despite the array of choices, this shop in my opinion, does not offer that taste that we usually get from old Chinese vendors who sells bowls of soups off huge, traditional stock pots. I think it is highly unlikely to find stalls like that by the streets anymore especially in city areas, hence shops like this offers quick solution to satisfy our cravings.

Well give it a try! :)
